local to local

Daily observations at or near Two Dot Spot, written by hand on the backs of postcards that record with ink and coffee a few minutes of the earth's orbit around the sun. The cards are physically mailed from Two Dot, Montana to those who have requested them...local to local. Ruth Marie Tomlinson

Tornadoes escaped, though roofs are flying skyward nearby. In Two Dot we are keeping our hats on, but our feet are wet as the river creeps into fields and basements...still...there is enough light to track across the page.

First day on my own in Two Dot...a week. Woke at 5 to the first pre-dawn pink and watched the sun come over the horizon. It is overcast now, but bright with no wind. Only two days till summer.

Some light this morning on the tail end of a thirty-six hour wind... constant 45 miles per hour. Hadn't seen the sun since June 14th when we arrived...until now, a relief.
